July 4th

This Independence Day was bitter sweet for me.  Jacob was unable to come with us to Soda Springs due to work this year, but I had a blast reliving my childhood with my boys.

I was able to visit with friends like old times...expect this time we talked about babies and husbands, but it was still so great!

 Going to the Parade

My Nephew climbing this tree to get something out of the tree that a neice got stuck in. Quite dramatic

A little pre-candy snack.

Luckily they fell asleep

Fun in the park afterwards

Then we went to the lake to do some boating.  I didn't get a picture of it but Steven and Christopher even ventured onto the boat and had the times of their lives!  Steven even went out on a tube with some cousins and loved every second!  It was so nice of the Godfrey's to let us tag along, and so relaxing for the adults to sit and talk!
Uncle Jon saving Christopher from a dog

Steven and Malachi had a blast at the "beach"

Balls Family Reunion 2013

We had a much too short family reunion at the end of June.  We went swimming, relaxed, a bit of hikng, and even on a "dinasaur train."  Unfortunately it was really just a short train ride that had a man dressed in a dinasaur costume dance down the isle to the "YMCA".  Not quite what we had imagined but it was fun being with family nontheless.
Mom and Dad getting their twin fix.
Dad just got an i-phone and didn't know quite how to use it...we all laughed

Little cousins all 6 months apart

A couple of us decided to hike the Y for the first time early in the morning

We were waiting on the train for a bit longer in the heat than we would have liked

Cousins!

We had most if not all of our neices and nephews to stay over at our house for one reason or another.  It really was a fun summer, and we loved having them and getting to know them all a bit better.  I realize I don't have pictures of everyone, or even most of them, but here's a snipit of our summer fun with cousins!

Chloe was very timid at first, but Jacob finally got her laugh and be herself.

Their buds.

At Traflaga, it was hot and we were waiting for WAY too long.

Madi rocked the rock wall.

AND we made them help in our backyard.

We also had a neice and nephew born this summer, and they are LOVED by our little family.  Christopher especially loves these babies and requires to hold them whenever possible.
