Spencer and Max's First Birthday

I realized I had never posted about my babies' first birthday!  We started it out with pancakes with their first candle in it.  Spencer may have been burned a bit...but he was really okay with it.

 Next:  Presents.  I'm not sure why they were naked, but it's cute.

They loved their blocks and Legos!  And so did their brothers, poor kids had to fight to play with them.

We went to dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe, since there is a variety of food they like to eat there.  And we really the whole family loves it, so it's a great excuse to go.

We ended the day with a little ball pit at the Curiosity Museum.  A great day all around.

The next day we had a party for them.  We thought of just doing cake, but the more I thought about it the more I realized this needed to be a party for not just celebrating Spencer and Max, but our family that helped us get through this first year.  So we had dinner, cupcakes, and an Easter egg hunt (since it was Easter weekend.)  We had a blast visiting with family!

They really didn't like the cakes.  Max started to dig in first, but he was also DONE first.

We are so blessed to have Spencer and Max in our home.  They are so different, and yet bring so much love and happiness to our family!
