Max 19 Months

Max. is. so. cute!  He really is, he can be a stinker at times but right now I find myself saying, "you're just so cute!" so many times.

Max is our smallest kid.  Everyone, even people who don't know how family as well, say that he looks like Christopher which is true, but Christopher was WAY chubbier.  Max is a Christopher mini, but he is just that a mini version.

He's an inch or so shorter and a few pounds lighter which may not seem like a lot but it you can for sure feel it when picking him up compared to his twin.

Max is a dare devil at the park, which you'll see in quite a few pictures.  Here I was to show you his adorable leg rolls.  I just couldn't help myself when he would go down the slide.

He LOVES to have fun.  He can often be found running around and teasing his brothers.  He does his own thing, but is very much willing to join with his brothers if they are having a good time as well.

Again Max is a daredevil of sorts.  He loves stand on the back of the chairs and rock, and yes he has fallen and it still doesn't stop him.
He loves to get utensils from the drawer out, any and all are great to him.  We only have like 2 spoons; I have no clue where he puts them!

Max also loves to get bowls out of the cupboards, put them on his head, carry them around and fill them with toys.

Which reminds me of Max's love of the recycling.  We often have our recycling cans and containers all of the house because Max loves to take them out and stack them like they were intentional toys.

Max can often be found pulling up his shirt exposing his stomach, pulling his shirt down over his knees, or trying to pull off his pants.  He's super funny.

Max loves to eat and will eat quickly if he is hungry and likes the food, if not, he won't eat.  period.  You can't make him.  And you should probably take away the plate as quickly as possible because it's going to get messy.  Which it's not uncommon to find Max putting all his food on the table before eating it either.

Most of my other kids and Spencer especially will sit quietly in their cribs or talk until I get them out, not Max!  If he is up and wants to get out, he's going to SCREAM until you get him out.

Max is the favorite brother for most of his brothers.  Steven and Christopher would fight over who got to take Max down the slides at the park all the time.

Max also really loves to move chairs around the kitchen to see what he can play with next.  The pantry is no exception here and often will find spare crackers and food lying around.

At a new park we found, Max loves to climb on these free standing stools and then stands waiting for me to help him through the bridge of these.  William and Ryan barely are able to do this!

Later on I asked the boys if they could see Max, he was climbing down this fish ladder thing.  All by himself, Steven and Christopher were the only ones who would do this.  Once again this kid is crazy.

Max used to be the victim from his brothers.  Spencer would bite him, the older four would take things from him, and he would just cry for a minute or two and then move one.  Not anymore!  He has now found a joy in pushing them back literally.  Spencer bit Max while I was in the bathroom, I came out and started to discipline Spencer when Max came out of nowhere and pushed him down then started hitting his head.  It was so out of the blue that I had to stop myself from laughing and start reprimanding him.  He does bite himself when he gets frustrated, which is kind of weird.

Max is getting to be a pretty good talker, not compared to his look alike brother, Christopher, who was our earliest talker, but he is getting there.  My favorite words he says are: uP, bye bye, shoes, hi, popcorn, momma, go, blankie.

Max has never really been attached to his blanket before now, now he's not only fond of his blanket I made him but the one our neighbor made for him as well.  He's not quite as bad as Spencer, but he's getting there.

Man do we love his kid! I will often whisper how I love him in his ear, and he always turns and kisses me.  Also when I'm singing to him at night he'll give me kisses; it melts me. He is fun loving, smart, funny, crazy, and just plain adorable!  We love you forever Max!!

Spencer 19 Months

I chose this picture for how cute Spencer was,
but look at Max's face in the background!
Oh Spencer.  He'd be a great only child.  He is so happy when he gets the attention that he wants and what he wants, but when he has to share his things and mom can't do everything he wants when he wants he is NOT afraid to scream and let me know it!  But man he's cute.

He likes to climb at the park, but will often just spend his time walking around up there, I'm not sure if he's afraid of the slides or just likes to be like the big kids.

Spencer is a complete momma's boy.  I'm a little worried about when his new brother gets here, because he LOVES me to hold him, and luckily I've been able to throughout the whole pregnancy.  I will say he is getting better at having other people hold him as well.

When the camera comes out he knows how to cheese it up! And will often push others aside to make sure he's got his best chance of being seen.

Now that he is 18 months, he's been going to nursery!  You'd think he'd be awesome because he has his brother (and for a few weeks 3 brothers before they split the nursery into two), but he's not and does worse than Max.  Hopefully soon he'll get it down.

He loves to be with his brothers, but will often sit back for a while to see what they're doing and if he really wants to join.  He usually does.

Some of the words in his vocabulary are: mom, dad, bye bye, up, hi, more, please, thank you, hat, shoes, blanket, eyes, hot, and some more that I can't think of right now.  He also is pretty good at imitating.

Spencer loves his shoes and will often try to find them and asks to have them put on, even if there's just one.  I also love when he brings me hats and asks me to put them on.  He walks around with it on for a minute then takes it off for me to put back on his head.

Spencer loves his blanket that I made for him, especially the corners that have unraveled.  He will find his favorite corner; stick it up his nose or in his ear while he sucks his thumb.

Spencer is a good inch taller and a few pounds heavier than his twin.
Luckily Spencer is starting to get out of his biting stage, hopefully.  He doesn't bite nearly as often and when he does he'll mostly take the shirt and bite that.  Much better in my book

Spencer is super sweet and smiley when he wants to be and knows how put up a fight when he wants to as well.  He has the tantrum thing down!  He'll throw himself to the floor and cry when he feels he is being mistreated, someone took something away from him or I told him no and he has no clue why.  But if he knows what he was doing is wrong or he first took the toy away from his brother, he'll give me the world's biggest stink eye for a good few minutes before going on his business.  Just to let me know that although he understands why he was reprimanded, he didn't like it.  It should also be known that he gives me the cutest, sweetest smile after he's done something mean to his brother. Any of them, he's not afraid of picking on any of them!

He's already starting to get into mischief!  He loves to get bins of legos or other toys out of the toy closet and dump them around the house.  Luckily he'll help clean up the mess, sometimes.
Here mom want some bread I stole from the bag?
His new favorite past time is moving chairs around to get what he wants.  He loves to play in the sink in water left in a bowl or cup, or knives.  Yeah, not my favorite stage.  I have to be careful about what I leave on the counter or sink; if it's out, he'll find it, get it, and eat it if he can.

We sure love this cute, smiling, laughing, mischief making, tantrum throwing, blanket loving adorable boy!

Ryan 3 Yrs.

I honestly can't believe Ryan's 3!  The time has really flown as these two have grown up.  We had donuts for breakfast.

Opened presents.

Played at a new park

Ate lunch at Sam's Club, where he wanted to buy these flowers for me because they were pretty.  He really is so sweet and points out flowers at every store we go to and says they're for mommy.

We bought a trampoline that just so happened came that day, so the boys thought it was theirs for a good while.  Ryan LOVES to jump on the tramp with his brothers and especially with his dad.

Since they weren't talking too much I just made an easy cake that I knew they'd love.
Who doesn't love loads of chocolate and M&Ms?
Ryan is really coming along with his speech, we knew a few words he said but man has he blossomed with going to Talking Time.  He loves going to school and loves to doing his homework even more, please let this always be the case!  He is still pretty shy while at Talking Time but occasionally they'll get to see his silly side.

Ryan is silly.  He loves to make you laugh, and he'll usually do it with a serious face as well.  But once he sees you laughing he can't help but join in on the fun.

My favorite right now, is the way Ryan will answer me. When I ask him to do something and he replies, "nope, mom" so cute and matter a fact.  So I'll get closer to his face and ask him again and he'll do the same reply a little closer to my face and this time with his eye's smiling more. This will go on until we are touching noses and both laughing.

He and William have started to be less mischievous since turning 3, but there are still times especially when their little brothers do something that they just can't help joining in on the fun!

He first learned his name with a Roar so when we asked who he was he'd say, "RYAN!".  We loved it, this was just after their third birthday.  I was just glad that they knew their own identity, not just that they were the twins or WillRyan.  As soon as he was comfortable with his name and William's name, when asked what his name was he'd say, "William".  Again straight faced, unless started to laugh, he'd get away with it though if we didn't know better.  He's such a tease

Ryan really gets along well with all his brothers, and again just loves to have fun and a good time.

He found this Cat in the Hat hat and LOVES it.  No one else can wear it.  Every time he wears it he has to find a book with the Hat on it (Cat in the Hat, Cat in the Hat returns), and then he points it out to everyone he can, "two hats! My two hats!"

He loves to give Zurpert kisses (blow raspberries).  He of course thinks it's hilarious!

Once again, Ryan is a pretty easy going, fun loving, laughter making boy we wouldn't trade with anyone!
