We had a great weekend of friends, family, and food. It started on Friday night when we went to a party with some friends from Salt Lake, we hadn't seen them since we moved so it was a lot of fun. Saturday Jacob had to work all day, but we were able to spend the night with his family. We had the traditional chili, root beer, and pumpkin pie, then went trick-or-treating around Jacob's old neighborhood. Steven didn't really understand it, but he had a great time looking at all the pumpkins and fun decorations. Unfortunately after a fun night of trick-or-treating, Steven had a hard face plant and got his first bloody nose and lip. Luckily suckers have a great way of making everything better.

Sunday we had a nice Halloween at home with more chili and candy while watching "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown." Steven actually sat and watched it for a good 5 minutes! We also did our traditional pumpkin drop; where we place a plastic pumpkin in the living room then go up to the loft to see how many pieces of candy we can drop successfully into the pumpkin below, of course my dear husband won. Steven had a great time picking up the candy and placing them in the pumpkin for us, I think next year he'll be able to join in the fun!
Steven is the cutest little leprechaun!!
