Three!

Sunday, Steven turned three.  I want to say I can't believe he's three, but really he's matured a lot in the last 6 months or so.  He's been ready for this day.  Since it was Sunday, it was pretty low key, but I think he still had a great day.  We went to Grandma and Grandpa Morrise's house to open presents and eat some cake.

Unfortunately my camera battery died, so this is pretty much the only picture of the opening of presents I got.  But he was very excited about his Mickey Mouse Pez Dispenser.  

(How can you go wrong with a toy that gives you candy?  His dream come true!)

His chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate on top.  It was good!

He has been waiting all year to blow out these candles.  He liked it so much Grandpa relight them and he did it twice more.

Steven is really a joy to have in our lives and home.  He is full of energy and laughs.  He loves to catch you off guard and make you smile!  Currently he loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and putting anything he can find down random drains he finds.  This kid still loves to touch people's hair, especially his mother and brother.  I'm fairly certain he will love to have two new babies' hair he can touch and not have them protest as loudly as Christopher.  Steven is as obedient as a little boy can be, and we are shocked daily by his observations and memory.  We love you Steven and can't wait to see what the future holds for you!
