Introducing Spencer Wayne Morrise

Spencer Wayne was born 9:54 a.m. weighing 7 lbs 5 oz, and 19 1/2 inches long.  He is perfect.  There was no complications in the hospital and passed all of his tests with flying colors.  All the nurses kept telling us how lucky we were to get such handsome boys.  We agreed.

We came home from the hospital just in time to watch General Conference.

He is often more awake between the two, so much so that Steven would ask if "this is the wakey baby?"

That being said, he is still such a good sleeper.  After two or three weeks he only wakes up once during the night to eat, and would probably sleep a lot longer but if I'm going to get up to feed his brother, he's getting fed as well.
Spencer was named for President Thomas Spencer Monson. And for two of our favorite uncles:  Wayne Hall, and Wayne Balls (and really also his twin Garth).  All of these men are personable, service oriented, fun loving, and wonderful men of God that we hope Spencer will look to to model his life.

He's such a good baby that even when I put him to bed he'll just lay there wake until he finally falls asleep.  Of the two he is does love his binky more, especially when going to sleep.  He is more "needy" meaning once a day during their awake time of hour intervals he cries to be held.  Which I fully oblige.

He is a champ at tummy time.  We've only done it a couple of times but each time he hasn't cried and already lifts his head from side to side.
At two weeks, he gained back all of his birth weight and then some coming in at 7 lbs and 8 oz and supposedly grew 2 inches to 21 1/2 inches.  And his head circumference is 36.7 cm.  This puts him in the 18% for weight, 90% for length, and 79% for head.
He is such an angel baby and like I said rarely cries.  We couldn't ask for a better behaved more cute baby!
Welcome to our crazy family Spencer!
